Shipping Methods and Charges
4ARMEDFORCES.COM ships all orders using the United States Postal Service. By default, domestic and FPO/APO orders are shipped via First Class Mail while international orders are usually shipped via Air Letter Post. Optionally, you may choose Priority Mail for domestic and FPO/APO destinations. You may check the US Postal Service website at www.usps.com for information about shipping times.
The shipping times quoted here are AFTER your order leaves our facilities. The usual time required to process, pack, and ship your order depends on the products you order. Each product specifies the number of business days usually required before shipment. Since we normally ship your order in one package, the amount of time required to ship your order will be within the number of business days specified for the product with the longest lead time. Rest assured that we ALWAYS try to get your order to you as quickly as possible and usually beat our estimates.
4ARMEDFORCES.COM reserves the right to add surcharges for any unusually bulky or heavy items. In those few circumstances, we will obtain your prior agreement before charging you and shipping your order.
Domestic US and FPO/APO Destinations
First Class Mail
Generally First Class Mail delivery takes about 3 - 7 days depending on where you live relative to Jacksonville, Florida where our primary facility is located. (Some products, for example Photographic Prints, are shipped from other locations.) We charge $2.25 for the first item you order and $1.00 for each additional item up to a maximum of $5.25.
Priority Mail
According to the US postal Service, Priority Mail delivery takes 2 - 3 days. However, they make no guarantees so it may occasionally take longer. You may choose to have your order shipped via Priority Mail for just $5.85 regardless of the number of items you order.
International Destinations
International shipments are usually sent USPS First Class International which takes about 6 - 10 days for delivery but varies by country. Check the US Postal Service website at www.usps.com for more information about shipping times and any restrictions that may apply. There are size and weight restriction on USPS First Class International shipments and, if necessary, another class of service will be used with your prior agreement. Additional charges may apply. 4ARMEDFORCES.COM will attempt to obtain a Delivery Confirmation for all international shipments. 4ARMEDFORCES.COM is NOT responsible for any customs or forwarding fees that may be imposed by any governmental or international agency.
